My mother and I eat vastly different foods.
She is a super picky eater. I do the shopping for her food some of the time.
I do the shopping to get all of my food.
Some of the stores where I shop include: Some of the items I buy:
I go to Whole Foods for lentil mixes, onion mixes, canned beans and chickpeas, and tortillas.
Farmers' market for veggies, bread, and hummus
Trader Joe's for peanut/almond butter, tempeh, jelly, tzakiki, dill dip, salad mix, almond milk , etc.
Safeway and sprouts for other assortments of foods
I am going to try and start shopping at Asian Grocery for Asian food to start saving on Asian food I get like noodles, coconut milk, etc.
I can spend anywhere from $30 to $110 weekly (but the food will last more than one week).
I shop for multiple items that last from a week to a few weeks. I also change it up throughout the month.
I always do the shopping in my house and I usually spend between £60 - £70 if not a little more each week to ensure I have everything I need for the week. I find just recently though it tends to be all over the place with the constant change in prices all the time.
