My family has opened a folder on Google Driver where whoever clicked photos of their visit to our place is expected to post them While I have no issues with the photos, some videos do not accept the choice to download them in my local folder. When the download option is selected to open the following VLC link opens but when I click OK the file does not open.

So you are downloading the video to your desktop or laptop and then trying to open? You may have to change file ownership.
