This is a series spin-off based on a movie of the same name. I can't remember exactly when the original movie was released apart from that it was at some point in the 2000s, and it starred Mark Walhberg as Bob Lee Swagger. Interestingly, Mark Walhberg has now taken a role on the TV series as a creative producer or some similar title, so I'm interested to see how much like the original film, which I thought was brilliant, this series manages to remain.

I've watched the first six episodes so far and I think it's brilliant - the pace of the storyline developing seems just right and it has stayed true to the original plot of the movie for the most part.

Has anyone else seen either the film, the TV series or both, and what have you thought so far?
