Social Media in XF

I think that social media based communication is the new way forward for all forums. However, almost all forums have failed to integrate their main forum softwares with social media and that unfortunately, also includes XenForo.

The closes that XF ever got was integrating icons in XF based threads so that users can seamlessly post their XF based chats/conversations in to social media.

What other measures do you think XF has to take to ensure integration and cross-linkage establishments between XF based forums and social medias,
