Being immortal

If you had the opportunity to be immortal, would you take it? I wouldn't. I mean it'd be great to have all the literal time in the world, but there's only so much you can do & learn. I'd get bored after awhile. Not to mention the fact my loved ones would die off. Then it'd get quite lonely. What is your opinion?

When I was a teenage boy in high school, it's one of the many things I fantasized about. I used to think it'd be cool to be a vampire like Lestat or be like Connor McLeod from Highlander. As I've grown older I don't really think about it that often anymore. I think there are a lot of problems that come with being immortal. Like getting stuck somewhere for decades where death would be a release.
