Would you consider setting a minimum word limit for posts on your forum? Do you think short posts lead to spam and discourage meaningful discussions?

What do you think is the ideal length for a forum post? Do you prefer brief, to-the-point responses, or do you enjoy more elaborate discussions?

Setting a post limit is not advisable. There are some 2 line posts that carry more quality than 10 line posts that is basically needless repetition of words.

I think the topic determines the length. But I also believe we need to strictly avoid one liner. I usually try to create 30-40 words posts/topics, which I believe justifies the topic/

I think a forum post should be detailed enough to capture the real essence and message of that post. I believe setting a minimum word count for a forum post could help reduce spam. Thirty words for a forum post is not bad.
